Zany fun on opening night of Grand Ghoul Opry

A night at the Grand Ghoul Opry is a great night out, according to one local patron.

MooseFM caught up with the fan who said those in the Halloween spirit will enjoy the show.

“Even before you get into the Playhouse, it’s all spooky. The lobby was spooky. There were people dressed up, all the volunteers are dressed up. And the show is awesome. It’s so much fun. It’s pretty zany and it is hilarious.”

The show features the ghosts and ghouls of classic literature who are “sick of trying to keep up on Tik Tok” and decide to host one last concert, which has them reimagining classic rock and country songs.

The ensemble led show stars creators Katherine Cappellacci, James King, Danielle Leger, Emily Mewett, and Tim Porter.

A Night at the Grand Ghoul Opry runs until November 3 at Bancroft’s Village Playhouse.
