SANGAMON COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — One inmate attacked two corrections officers, resulting in one officer sustaining injuries at the Sangamon County Jail on Saturday.
According to Jeff Wilhite, Spokesman for Sangamon County, an altercation occurred when an inmate attacked two corrections officers at the jail. One officer sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
There is currently no information about the condition of the inmate.
