CHARLESTON, Ill. (WCIA) – It was a successful day at Groniger Arena for Eastern Illinois basketball.
The Panthers won both a men’s basketball and women’s basketball game on Friday.
The men’s team began the day by beating Calumet College of St. Joseph 87-57. Nakyel Shelton and Zion Fruster each scored 19 points in that game.
Then, the EIU women’s basketball team beat Indiana State in the evening. The Panthers women’s squad beat Indiana State 73-60, led by Macy McGlone with 26 points.
