The ROG Flow Z13 proved to be an interesting form factor back in 2023 as a gaming tablet that can handle AAA games with ease. ASUS revisits the idea in 2025 with a new version of the ROG Flow Z13 that uses AMD’s Ryzen AI Max+ processor.
The Ryzen AI Max+ 395 powering the 2025 ROG Flow Z13 is paired with an Radeon 8060S GPU that brings in desktop-level performance in a gaming tablet form factor. Unlike the 2023 version that used an Intel processor and NVIDIA GPU, ASUS is going all-in with AMD for better power and memory management with its unified architecture.
One of the upgrades include support for as much as 128GB LPDDR5X RAM in a quad-channel setup, more ports that include a dedicated HDMI 2.1 port, USB-A port, and microSD card reader, and a higher-resolution 2.5k Nebula display with 180hz refresh rate and 500nits brightness. You also get a revamped stainless steel vapor chamber and 2nd Gen Arc Flow Fans for improved cooling, along with large touchpad and keycaps.
With its use of AMD’s new chip, ASUS claims that the 2025 ROG Flow Z13’s 70wH battery can last for up to 10 hours on a single charge.
Expect the 2025 ROG Flow Z13 to be available later this year.
