Did anyone catch 2073? They re-used shots from Children of Men in the opening, only slightly digitally altered…

They come back to back and are both from when Theo goes to see his cousin, Nigel, at the Ark of the Arts.

Here's a side by side comparison between the two movies.

First, the shot of The Statue of David with the dogs laying at its base. They added artwork to the blank walls flanking it and removed the people from the shot. Then immediately following is a reversed shot of Theo, Nigel, and his son eating, once again with the artwork replaced digitally.

Did they just hope no one would notice? Cause I sure did… 😅
