SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WCIA) — The Springfield Police Department is asking for help finding six people whom they said were involved in a string of retail thefts in the week before Christmas.
The Department published several posts on its Facebook page detailing the dates and locations of the thefts, along with photos of the suspects. The thefts happened:
- On Dec. 17 at Old Navy, 3261 South Veterans Parkway
- On Dec. 18 at AT&T, 1311 South 6th Street
- On Dec. 21 at Walmart, 2760 North Dirksen Parkway
- On Dec. 21 at Walmart, 3401 Freedom Drive
Anyone who can identify the people shown above, or who has information about the thefts, is asked to call the Springfield Police Department at 217-788-8325 or Sangamon/Menard County Crime Stoppers at 217–788–8427. Tips that lead to an arrest will result in a cash reward for the tipster.
