Godzilla has made a grand entrance into Fortnite, ready to shake things up in the battle royale experience. Players will soon have the chance to control this iconic monster in select matches, towering over the island as a giant Kaiju. Additionally, gamers can unlock a Godzilla outfit for their characters, meaning you might encounter this legendary creature both in its massive form and in a standard human-sized version. If you want to know all the details about how to get Godzilla in Fortnite, read on!
Becoming the Titan Godzilla in Fortnite
Watch out for a special portal that may show up during battle royale matches. This portal is your ticket to becoming the titan Godzilla in Fortnite. The first player to leap through the portal will transform into a massive Godzilla, ready to unleash chaos on the island. Players can use a powerful Roar to spot nearby opponents, perform a Mighty Stomp Attack to send foes flying, and fire a Heat Ray that slices through structures and enemies alike.
However, the battle isn’t entirely in favor of Godzilla. Other players can join forces to take him down by targeting his weak points for extra damage. Successfully hitting these spots will cause Godzilla’s Fragments to drop, which players can collect for a health boost of 40 along with three dash charges. The player who deals the most damage to Godzilla will earn the Godzilla Medallion, which grants a recharging dash ability with three charges available, plus the exotic Burst Quad Launcher.
Completing the Fortnite Godzilla Quests
- Investigate the footprints (1)
- Damage opponents from a height (120)
- Uncover Monarch’s secrets (3)
- Fly a total distance (1,954)
- Place Kaiju detection beacons (2)
At the moment, there are five Fortnite Godzilla quests available, with two more sets scheduled to be introduced on Friday, January 17. The map above can point you to the specific locations you need to visit. You’re only required to place two Kaiju detection beacons from the four possible spots, and each of Monarch’s secrets locations typically contains enough items to fulfill the quest without needing to travel to additional areas.
