Clint Eastwood’s son is updating fans on how the legendary actor-director is faring six months after the death of his girlfriend.
In an interview published on Friday, January 17, Scott Eastwood told People that the 94-year-old Dirty Harry star is “good.”
“He’s doing good,” Scott, 38, added. “He’s a survivor, a trouper.”
Clint’s girlfriend, Christina Sandera, died from a heart attack in July 2024. She was 61 years old; they had been together for 10 years.
“Christina was a lovely, caring woman, and I will miss her very much,” the Escape From Alcatraz actor said in a statement at the time.
When asked what he has learned from his father’s resilience over the years, Scott — who is one of the five-time Oscar winner’s eight children — told People, “It’s in our blood. You don’t complain. You don’t whine. You just do.”
Clint “saw a lot of struggle” over his life, Scott continued, explaining that his dad “was born coming out of the Great Depression, and then he was young during World War II.”
The Million Dollar Baby director has been married twice, and shares his eight children with six different women.
He met Sandera in 2014, when she was working as a hostess at his Mission Ranch Hotel and Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea, California.
Scott, for his part, has followed his father’s footsteps in the entertainment industry — starring in everything from Taylor Swift‘s “Wildest Dreams” music video to joining the DC Universe in Suicide Squad, as well as the Fast & The Furious franchise in Fast X.
