Manchester United suffered another miserable home defeat as they were beaten 3-1 by Brighton at Old Trafford on Sunday.
Ruben Amorim lost his seventh match in 15 since joining, the club losing their fifth in eight matches as Brighton outplayed them for much of the game.
Yankuba Minteh scored inside five minutes before Bruno Fernandes levelled from the spot with United’s only shot on target.

In the second half, Joao Pedro saw a goal ruled out for a foul but Kaoru Mitoma volleyed home on the hour mark and Georginio Rutter tapped in after a horrendous Andre Onana error.

The result leaves United in 13th, with Amorim labelling his side ‘maybe the worst team in the history of Manchester United’ after the match.
