GARLAND, Utah (ABC4) — Crews are now rapping up after a “significant” gas leak was detected in the Bear Hollow community in Garland.
According to Garland City Fire Department, crews were dispatched around 5 p.m. after workers struck a 6- inch gas line. Enbridge arrived and was able to determine the cause of the leak, and shut off the affected pipe.
Evacuation orders in the area have been lifted and residents are welcomed to return to the area. Entrances to the community have also been opened.
According to GCFD, no one was transported to the hospital or injured during the gas leak.

GARLAND, Utah (ABC4) — Residents of a Garland neighborhood are under evacuation orders after a “significant” gas leak was discovered.
According to the Garland City Fire Department, crews from the Box Elder County Sheriff, Enbridge Gas, and their own fire crews have responded to the scene of the gas leak, which is located in the general area of the Bear Hollow Community.
Details are limited, but entrances to the Bear Hollow community have been closed off for emergency operations in the area. The cause of the gas leak has not been specified by GCFD, it is currently unclear how many homes are affected by the evacuation orders.
