CHARLESTON, Ill. (WCIA) — An acquired structure burn is being completed by the Lincoln Fire Protection District on Saturday.
The burn is being carried out on Lincoln Highway Road near the intersection of 100N and the Lincoln Log Cabin State Historic Site. Emergency equipment and personnel will be present throughout the day.
The fire district warns that periods of heavy smoke and flames will be visible during the training.
