It’s another big weekend for Jets hockey.
The LEO U13 blue and white teams are hosting the Mineral Capital Cup, an annual all-day home game tournament.
The day will feature raffles, a 50/50 draw and the popular Chuck-a-Puck. Pucks to “chuck” will be sold for two dollars each. Whoever throws the puck closest to the centre face-off dot will win the prize.
The fun gets going at 8 a.m. when the Bancroft Blues face off against Apsley.
The last game before the championship round takes place is at 3 p.m. when the Bancroft whites go up against the Muskoka Building reds.
Championship games take place on the hour starting at 4 p.m. with the last puck drop at 7 p.m.
