Logan, the 18-year-old last seen in Havelock on Oct. 15, has been found safe.
Around 8:45 a.m. this morning (Oct. 30), Logan was located by officers in an abandoned building that had been searched regularly, as it was known to be one of his regular hideouts.
Brooklyn Harker, Central Region OPP Media Relations Coordinator, confirmed that the building is in the Havelock area.
In the time since Logan was missing, search parties had sprung up across central and eastern Ontario with many sharing information on social media.
Harker said every bit helped, acknowledging how many became invested in Logan’s safety.
“The amount of eyes we got on this was really incredible. So it’s definitely a shared success with the amount of people that were invested in finding the missing person.”
Harker said that Logan was taken to the hospital Wednesday morning to be checked out, as a precaution.
There will be an increased police presence in Havelock until this afternoon.
