One person has died after single vehicle collision on Highway 62

One person has died after a single vehicle collision on Wednesday.

Bancroft OPP said officers responded just before 4:30 p.m. after the vehicle left the road on Highway 62, near South Baptist Lake Road.

The occupant of the vehicle was transported to hospital, where they were pronounced deceased shortly after arrival.

The investigation into the circumstances surrounding the collision is ongoing. Bancroft OPP is working alongside the OPP Technical Collision Investigators and say they are “actively working to determine the cause of this tragic incident.”
