CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) – Illinois volleyball picked up a big win on Friday.
The Illini battled back, after dropping the first set, to beat No. 20 USC in five sets.
Raina Terry led the way with 18 kills, while freshman Ashlyn Philpot pitched in with 17 and former Northwestern Wildcat notched 16.
Illinois improved to 16-7 overall, 8-5 in Big Ten play, with Friday’s win.
The Illini are home again on Saturday, Nov. 9 against Ohio State at 7 p.m.
