CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — The left lane of I-74 westbound is now open, State Police told WCIA.
CHAMPAIGN COUNTY, Ill. (WCIA) — Traffic on I-74 westbound is being diverted after a three-vehicle property damage crash involving two semi-trucks Tuesday morning.
The crash happened around 8 a.m. at milepost 189, just west of St. Joseph, according to State Police.
One person was taken to a local hospital with injuries. Traffic is being diverted into St. Joseph at milepost 192 onto route 150 while crews work to clear the road. State Police ask that drivers take alternate routes and be prepared for traffic that is slow or stopped in the area.
A WCIA reporter is on the scene. He said as of around 9 a.m. that traffic is at a standstill on I-74 westbound.
