Okay here’s the hook that might immediately send you straight to the comments. I am a 21 broke college student and I want to take out a loan of $5000 to buy a motorcycle because I am depressed and need a hobby/thrill/reason to get up. I already have a car fully paid off with insurance covered by parents. I stay at home with them so no rent, but will be planning on moving out within the year. I will be searching for my own insurance also. To answer your question, I have no idea what I want out of life right now as I am lost. All I know is I want to finish college, find the will to live, and make money to support my future endeavors. I have a credit score of 750, and honestly making the money shouldn’t be an issue but I will be starting school next semester so I will have to cut my work hours in half. I am a server so money fluctuates but isn’t bad. I realistically only spend my money on gas, food, and entertainment which keeps me alive. Before you suggest I get a therapist, already ahead of you. Just here for financial input and I’m perfectly prepared to be humbled. Just be realistic or optimistic. I am aware riding season is almost over and I have the next coming months to save and whatnot, but there’s just a void in my life right now where I think spending money on a life ending machine could propel me into the right path towards a great future…help
