From streamlining asset management to making the most of real-time revisions, here are the many ways I personally enjoy Adobe’s Creative Cloud Libraries:

Let me start by saying my favorite strength of Creative Cloud Libraries is how it brings all essential assets under one digital roof, accessible across Adobe’s entire app ecosystem.

You can save and share colors, fonts, logos, images, and more in a single library, which can then be accessed in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and even Adobe Express.

This alone is a winning feature.

By reducing time spent searching for files and managing changes, you can ensure that each team member (if you work with multiple creatives like me) is working with the most current assets.

With Adobe Express now allowing users to import assets directly from programs like Photoshop, teams have an even smoother experience when managing projects across different mediums with multiple materials.

For example, if you’re creating a social media campaign in Adobe Express, you can pull in assets from Photoshop without needing to re-upload or re-download files.

Imagine how much easier it is to update campaigns! That’s not only marketing done fast. That’s marketing done smart.

This makes it a whole lot easier for designers like myself to instantly recolor assets to match brand palettes with a single click. For more details on how to use this feature, Adobe provides comprehensive guidance on creating libraries, sharing options, and accessing assets within Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.

That means I never have to spend too much time on maintaining a uniform look and feel for the content I produce across platforms.

But Adobe’s commitment to reusable templates and brand assets isn’t exclusive to graphic design mavens only.

For video editors, Adobe Premiere Pro’s Generative Extend feature allows additional frames to be added seamlessly to video clips, enhancing the continuity of your branding in video content.

This innovative tool, thanks to the all-powerful Adobe Firefly, offers cleaner transitions, covers all kinds of gaps, and holds on shots longer for more polished and expensive-looking videos.

If it isn’t obvious yet, one of the biggest trends (or should I say permanent shifts?) in creative agencies is hiring team members from all around the world.

Gone are the days when the agency you want to work with has to be just a few blocks away from you.

As such, Creative Cloud Libraries is determined to foster the spirit of easier collaboration no matter where the people you’re working with are.

By enabling multiple users to access a library, Creative Cloud Libraries make it easy to store, share, and manage assets in real time. For instance, Photoshop’s recent update to the Remove tool now includes a Distraction Removal feature that automatically detects and removes unwanted objects, like people or wires, from an image.

If you’re a travel photographer, imagine how much faster it’d be to edit commissioned photos.

Powered by Adobe Firefly, this tool enhances workflows by letting designers focus on creative work instead of complicated retouching. The actions taken to troubleshoot any issues, such as errors in creating new elements in the library, are also simplified.

The Generative Fill tool in Photoshop also uses Adobe Firefly to expand imaging possibilities. By adding or removing content with simple text prompts, designers can achieve realistic adjustments with shadows, lighting, and perspectives automatically accounted for.

Social media managers — one of the many creatives to benefit from this — will now have an easier time posting various-sized content and adjusting them to fit in Stories and other platforms with different required dimensions.

The latest updates at Adobe MAX 2024 introduced Project Neo, which gives 2D designers a chance to work in 3D right within their browsers.

Isn’t that neat? My jaw quite literally dropped when they showed the example of a 2D dragon and moved it around to show depth and other angles.

In Photoshop, the integration of the Adobe Substance 3D Viewer allows designers to place and edit 3D objects within their compositions as smart objects.
