Where will you place your show money?

First time travelling abroad. The thing is, my show money is currently saved thru coop so I only have my passbook. I'm wondering if this passbook will be accepted by the IO or not? Personally, I want it saved in our coop for the meantime but I would transfer it if the coop passbook will not be accepted.
