“Living In Nigeria Is Challenging, That’s Why We Have So Many Superstars” – Tiwa Savage

Afrobeats singer Tiwa Savage has stated that poverty is the reason behind the large number of entertainers emerging from Nigeria.

She explained that the hardships in the country are motivating young people to explore their talents.

On the ‘Shopping The Sneakers’ podcast shared on X Monday, Savage stated that living in Nigeria is challenging.

She said, “When you come to Nigeria, you will understand why we breed so many superstars. To survive in Nigeria is something else so that’s why the artists that come out of Nigeria are just like hustlers. They are just hustling.”

Nigeria is home to Africa’s largest film, music, comedy, and fashion industry.

Nollywood is the world’s second largest movie industry.
