The core of the gameplay
In Shadow Trick, everything revolves around the ability to “trick” yourself and the game world. You control a small, cute but equally powerful wizard character, who can switch between two states: the real world and the dark world. In the real world, you are a small person, limited by gravity and physical platforms. But with just one switch, you become the dark – an immaterial entity, free to glide through walls or activate special abilities, far beyond the limits of a human.
This mechanism sounds simple but the more you play, you will realize that it is not easy. Each level is a completely different challenge, there is no general formula to win all the levels, but the core is that you have to make the most of the ability to switch between the two worlds to overcome. You will have to jump over hideous spike traps, avoid enemies, or use your own shadow to activate platforms or push blocks into the right position. Diverse levels
Shadow Trick is divided into 24 levels, spanning 4 worlds with unique colors, including the stone castle, the poetic garden, the frozen land and the colorful toy world. Each world will change in image, at the same time bringing new gameplay mechanics. For example:
