Question for Liverpool fans – reaction to the Possible Trent departure

My friend is convinced IF Trent goes to madrid ( on a " free " )

" he will become to most hated player in Liverpool history "

I don't agree at all whilst it wont be well taken I think he will actually leave with Some fans blessing as I guess we all know too when Madrid Or Barca ( mainly years ago )

It can be very hard for anyone to turn down
