Last weekend the Palmer Rapids and Area Lions Club hosted a Tree of Love event in support of the St. Francis Valley Healthcare Foundation’s Tree of Lights Campaign.
The outdoor tree lighting was followed by music and refreshments indoors.
Money raised through the event will go towards emergency department redevelopment and ambulatory care clinic renovation at St. Francis Memorial Hospital.

The St Francis Valley healthcare Tree of Lights ceremony is at the Barry’s Bay Railway Station Friday, beginning at 6:30 pm.
