Let’s talk about real madrid’s problems, Carlo and Mbappe

Before anyone say it, I understand that we have many injuries but I don't think that's related to our performance, we got enough talent that can fill in.

I think Carlo is the problem right now. He's one of if not the best coach in the history of the game but his style isn't working at the moment. He needs to take the wheel and give firm tactics. The system where we prioritize individuality of players is not working with the amount of stars we have. I've seen it a lot this season. Rather than giving players the freedom to do whatever they want I believe most players need strict tactics to follow; Let mbappe do whatever he want and you'll find him walking the totality of the game with no pressing waiting for his teammate to fight for the ball while he just hugging the sideline and when his teammates get the ball he doesn't make the run or nothing, he just waits until they feed him a 1v1 and he looses it to mediocre fullbacks and when vini was playing mbappe would be on top of him where belli would have to make the runs that mbappe should be making, in addition to his role in defending and playmaking. You can't find a top coach that lets players chose the penalty taker on the pitch, because it doesn't work. Have a designated penalty taker if its 1. Vini 2. Belli 3. Mbappe then its in that order, have designated tactics and instructions that are clear and don't leave it to players to decide what to do mid game.

Secondly, I believe Carlo should bench players if they don't preform well ( I'm looking at mbappe, tchaomeni and Vasquez) Rodrigo gets the end of the stick constantly, when he's not the problem whereas mbappe can miss 2 penalties in important matches and you bet your house he will continue playing 90 minutes. We're real madrid for God's sake we're not one player's team. Whatever works for the team should be what's done. Not whatever works for Mbappe. I understand that mbappe will be back ofc. But until then Carlo should be strict with his tactics and instructions. For every player there should be do this and do that. ( mbappee included and especially). If a player doesn't preform in a bunch of consecutive games he should learn not to take it for granted and be on the bench to work harder and do better next time he gets the chance.
