WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4) — A rollover in West Valley City on Wednesday evening injured one person, sending them to the hospital.
According to West Valley City Police, the crash happened just before 8 p.m. Police say when they arrived on the scene, they found a car off Mountain View Highway after it had rolled an unknown number of times. The car carried a single female occupant.
The car that rolled had been struck by another vehicle, which carried one male occupant, who remained on the scene after the crash. The male was uninjured. The female in the car that rolled sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
West Valley City Police are still investigating to see what led to the crash. Traffic is down to one lane and is expected to be back up to speed in about 30 minutes.
