SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) – Happy Tuesday, Utah! It’s a frigid start with temps in the 10s and 20s widespread but look for plenty of sunshine and a light northerly breeze.
Bottom Line?! Frigid start Tuesday, then sunshine and chilly weather.
Highs will warm into the 30s for most of Utah, with upper 40s for lower Washington county. The air quality will remain decent with good to possibly moderate readings Tuesday afternoon. It will likely be another frigid night with overnight lows dipping back into the 10s and 20s by early Wednesday morning.
Wednesday will feature a few extra clouds, otherwise warmer conditions are expected statewide.
A weak trough is expected to roll in Thursday into Friday, bringing light mountain snow and freshening the air.
Another system could show up over the weekend, but it’s still uncertain how strong it’ll be. The current forecast shows that any snow will likely be light and mostly in the mountains.
Stay tuned.
