MURRAY, Utah (ABC4) — Detectives with the Murray City Police Department are offering a $5,000 reward for information in a homicide case from nearly a decade ago.
Fred Curtis Mustain was found dead around 9:20 p.m. on Sept. 5, 2015, after being shot several times in the back. Police said he was found at a property on East Vine Street in Murray that was under construction.
“Investigators have followed multiple leads and have been able to narrow their search and identify possible suspects in this case,” Murray PD said in a social media post on Dec. 11, 2024.
Police said they are seeking information from the public to “help substantiate the evidence in this case.”
Anyone with information or tips has been asked to call Detective Gruendell at 801-264-2658. The reward will be granted if the information provided leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of the involved person or people.
