Daughter of former Delta State governor, James Ibori, Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu, has vowed to put end to the leadership of Peoples Democratic Party in the state.
Recall that INFORMATION NIGERIA had reported that the lawmaker representing Ethiope Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, recently defected from PDP to All Progressive Congress.
Mrs. Erhiatake said that leaving her former party to APC was the greatest decision she had ever made in her life, adding that the the major opposition party nearly kill her political career.

The lawmaker led this out on Thursday, during a constituency empowerment programme where she distributed vehicles, motorcycles, sewing machines, and water pumps.
She said: “We will bury PDP in Ologbo River, the bridge between Delta and Edo States. I am already at home; APC is supreme.
“The people in PDP wanted to kill my political aspirations, but thank God, I have finally left.”

Meanwhile, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, the immediate past Deputy Senate President, praised Mrs. Erhiatake’s defection, describing her as a political bulldozer.
He said: “With Hon. Erhiatake Ibori-Suenu’s support, the APC is better positioned to take over Delta.
“Her energy and dedication will greatly strengthen our chances.”
