I will give credit where it is due, his first year at Real Madrid was great and this season, he is coming into form after a slow start. However, I have seen him against good teams make countless mistakes whether it is giving the ball away at key moments, missing goals that could have tied or made it a close match (like against Barcelona), or get juked/shaken up on defense (like against Liverpool when he tried to tackle Darwin Nunez, same as against Pedri when playing Barca).
It is almost like when he plays bad, they make every excuse they can:
But when he plays decent to good, they are immediately calling him the GOAT.
In recent history, I cannot think of any player that was as pushed onto us as him.
