After teasing that the realme 14 Pro series will rock a Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 processor and a periscope camera, the brand has revealed the official look of its next midrange phones–specifically the realme 14 Pro+.
In its post, the 14 Pro series is claimed to be the first phone to have a color-changing design based on cold temperatures. This is different from what we saw in other phones before like vivo’s V25 and V27. series. This is made possible by a “Color-Changing Fusion Fiber” that triggers the reaction when temperatures drop below 16 degrees Celsius.
With the 14 Pro series launching first in India in January, select members of the media were able to see the 14 Pro+ up close. Looking at the photos, the 14 Pro+ has a revamped camera module design that does away with the fluted bezel and has a rather unusual arrangement for the “Magic Glow” LED flash. The three camera modules are spread in the middle similar to the Magic6 Pro.
The back panel has a pearl-like design, and realme claims that no 14 Pro+ will look alike because of the said finish. You also get an IP69 rating, which is a step up from the IP65 rating on the realme 13 Pro series.
For the display, realme confirmed that the 14 Pro+ will opt for a quad-curved panel and that the bezels are significantly thinner at 1.6mm and are symmetrical–being close to what you’d see on flagship phones.
