The New York Mets kept pace in an escalating National League East arms race Sunday, reportedly agreeing to terms with left-hander Sean Manaea on a three-year, $75 million contract.

Manaea, 32, went 12-6 with a 3.47 ERA in 32 starts for New York in 2024, making a reunion likely as the Mets looked to run it back after reaching the National League Championship Series in October.

In nine major league seasons, Manaea is 77-62 with a 4.00 earned-run average for the Mets, San Francisco Giants (2023), San Diego Padres (2022) and Oakland A’s (2016-21).

Jeff Passan of ESPN was first to report the two sides were in agreement.
