This ASUS Gaming Laptop is Neither TUF or ROG

When it comes to gaming laptops, we know ASUS for their TUF and ROG lines–with the latter being more prominent. But what if ASUS has a third gaming laptop line? That seems to be the case with the V16, which ASUS calls their new entry-level gaming laptop offering.

Carrying the model number V3607, the V16 is a 16-inch gaming laptop with a 144hz Full HD IPS display, a Core 7 processor, and an RTX 4050. Unlike its more expensive siblings, the V16 comes with an ErgoSense keyboard, which makes us think that this is the official new name for the Vivobook gaming line.

For its design, the V16 has a Turbo Blue keyboard backlight, along with neon-highlighted WASD and arrow keys to remind you that this is a gaming laptop. It’s overall design is more on the subtle side with a matte black finish. It can be configured with up to 32GB 5600Mhz DDR5 RAM with its dual memory slots, and you get a magnetic physical camera shutter.

Other notable features of the V16 include stereo speakers with ASUS’ Audio Booster and Dirac Audio, AI noise cancellation, a 63wHr battery, and military grade durability. ASUS has yet to reveal pricing and availability of the V16, but it does come bundled with PC Game Pass Ultimate.
