WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4) — A 53-year-old man was killed in an auto-pedestrian crash Friday night, according to West Valley City Police.
At around 8 p.m. on Dec. 27, a 53-year-old man was pushing a shopping cart across 4100 South at around 4730 West. The man was reportedly wearing dark clothing and crossing outside of a crosswalk.
An SUV was heading east on 4100 South at the same time and hit the man, police said. The man was taken to the hospital where he was reportedly declared deceased.
Further details regarding this incident have not been made available at this time. The victim’s identity has not been released.
