Eugene, Ore. (WCIA) — Illinois basketball got its first-ever win at Oregon in a Top 25 clash behind six players scoring in double figures with the Illini getting a dominant 109-77 victory.
Tre White scored a team-high 20 points for the Illini, with Ben Humrichous (18) and Jake Davis (12) scoring season-highs in the win.
Davis and Dra Gibbs-Lawhorn combined for 23 points in the first half to lead Illinois to a 45-38 lead before that lead ballooned up to 32 by the final buzzer.
Kasparas Jakucionis (16) and Kylan Boswell (15) also scored in double figures.
The Orange and Blue shot 55.2% (16-29) from three in probably the most impressive win so far this season.
Illinois also held a 43-31 edge in rebounding, scoring 48 points in the paint.
The Illini will look for their second win on the West Coast road trip at Washington on Sunday at 3:00 pm, broadcast on BTN.
