EAST LANSING, Mich. (WCIA) — Illinois will take on the only remaining undefeated team in Big Ten play Sunday afternoon in a tough road battle.
No. 12 Michigan State has won ten straight games with a perfect 6-0 record in conference play, hosting No. 19 Illinois after the two split meetings last season.
“We know what we’re in for,” said head coach Brad Underwood. “It’s always the annual rock fight, make your way to the parking lot, strap it on. And if you don’t, you don’t get out of there without a win.”
Tip-off is at 11 a.m. on Sunday at Michigan State’s Breslin Center.
