RIVERTON, Utah (ABC4) — The suspect of a high-speed chase is dead after a highspeed chase ended in a crash in Riverton.
According to Salt Lake City Police, the suspect of chase died after crashing in the area of 12400 South and Redwood Road. Currently no details have been released on the age or identity of the suspect.
At this time, officer involved critical incident protocol has been activated.

SALT LAKE CITY (ABC4) — Officers are currently responding to a crash after a highspeed chase of a suspect that allegedly shot at police officers.
Details are limited, however according to Salt Lake City Police Department, they were in pursuit of the suspect down Redwood Road, pursuing the suspect southbound in a white Ford truck. As of 12:18 a.m., police were still in pursuit, and around 12:40 a.m. it was confirmed the suspect had crashed in the area of 12400 South and Redwood Road.
Regional law enforcement along with Swat are responding to the chase. According to SLCPD there is currently no active threat to the community, and no injuries to enforcement personnel were reported.
